Senior Analyst - Procurement Analytics
Responsibilities

- Our role is critical in driving operational efficiency by overseeing the entire procure-to-pay process and ensuring the strategic acquisition of goods and services essential to the airline’s success
- We are committed to optimizing costs, maintaining supplier quality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards, all while supporting operational excellence and aligning with United’s broader business objectives
- As part of the Enablement Team within GP, we are seeking a Senior Analyst for Procurement Analytics
- The role is critical in designing and optimizing data models to support business insights and decision-making
- They analyze raw data, identify relationships, and develop structured models that ensure data consistency and efficiency
- Working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and BI teams, they map source data, validate models, and maintain data governance standards
- Their expertise enables the creation of scalable and accurate data structures, driving reliable analytics and reporting
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, financial analytics, procurement analytics, or similar
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, coding language, and data transformation tools
- Experience with Power BI, and dashboards
- Strong Excel and Excel-Macro
- Experienced working with large datasets, ability to tell a story using data
- Passionate about data analytics and visionary for how it can be applied
- Understanding of procurement platforms such as Coupa, Ariba, Oracle ERP
- Good understanding of data warehouses and designing data models
- Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
- Good project management skills, and able to meet deadlines
- Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to details
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Highly structured with attention to details and result oriented
