Data Warehouse Developer

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and increased use of the data warehouse and associated tools across the Trust.
• Ensure clinical systems are linked to the warehouse and that warehouse requirements are included in all clinical systems developments.
• Provide leadership in delivering feeds from all clinical systems to the warehouse.
• Contribute to the Informatics strategy for the Trust.
• Support the drive to provide accurate and reliable information to Trust services and external bodies.

Skills:

• Previous NHS experience is essential.
• Ability to analyze and document business reporting requirements with an understanding of the resulting technical implications.
• Expert Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse tools and concepts.
• Previous demonstrable experience operating in an analyst capacity in a technical environment.
• Previous demonstrable Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, or DBA experience.
• Current working knowledge and experience of using SQL and Business Objects.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Advanced working knowledge of the full MS Business Intelligence stack.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience of data modeling, report development, and query optimization.
• Previous experience of requirements gathering and working with stakeholders to establish clear and realistic requirements.
