Recruitment and Retention Data Analyst - SFPD (1823)
Responsibilities:
- Under general direction, the Recruitment and Retention Data Analyst will plan, organize, lead and/or participate in complex, sensitive, and detailed analytical work relating to recruitment, retention, and other staffing and human resources related data
- The analyst will leverage analytic and technical skills to innovate, build, and maintain solutions to address these areas
- Develop and implement data collection and reporting procedures regarding recruitment and retention activities
- Conduct data analysis and data visualization activities; develop dashboards and presentations using data visualization software (PowerBI or Tableau) to understand employment trends
- Use a variety of data analysis tools (e.g., queries, exports, pivot tables, definitions, visualizations, and data quality assessments) to understand SFPD employment data
- Analyze existing and proposed administrative policies and procedures as well as organizational problems
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders
- Research best practices and make recommendations
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned
