Power BI Developer - Independent Project Ownership

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients to ascertain their data needs and expectations
Develop short project plans or specifications detailing planned outputs and timelines
Create and design Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets from the ground up
Transform Excel-based reports into efficient and modern Power BI dashboards
Construct data models and visualizations that yield insights for clients
Publish and oversee reports within Power BI Service
Conduct testing to ensure accuracy, performance, and usability of reports
Implement updates and enhancements based on client feedback

Skills:

3+ years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards
Proficient in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling
Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction
Excellent time management and ability to work autonomously
Experience in gathering requirements directly from clients
Quick learner of new systems, industries, and data sources
Experience in optimizing Power BI models and enhancing report performance
Capable of managing projects independently from initiation to delivery
