Database Developer/ Admin - 100% Remote

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable NoSQL database architectures using MongoDB
• Perform data modeling for high-performance and high-availability systems
• Optimize database performance through indexing, sharding, and replication strategies
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
• Integrate MongoDB with Big Data platforms such as:
  • Apache Kafka
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
• Support real-time and batch data processing systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot production database issues
• Provide consulting support for migration from RDBMS (e.g., Oracle Database, MySQL) to NoSQL environments
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and DevOps teams

Qualifications

• We are seeking a highly skilled MongoDB / NoSQL Database Developer/ Admin with strong expertise in Big Data technologies to design, implement, optimize, and manage scalable data solutions
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MongoDB and modern big data ecosystems such as Casandra, Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark
