MS SQL Database Administrator

Responsibilities

• The MS SQL Database Administrator is a engineer responsible for leading the implementation, planning, coordination, configuration, installation, and ongoing management of the Database Management Systems
• This position employs software, hardware, and/or communication technologies to accomplish assignments

Skills

• Competencies: SQL Server Database Administration, Database Administration (DBMS) - 10+ years experience required
• The DBA uses technical knowledge to solve business problems, by means of a systematic and disciplined approach
• Associate Must have 4-6 years of experience as SQL Administrator with following competencies
• Experience of Installation, implementation, configuration, maintenance and performance of SQL Server Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) Experience with backups, restores and recovery models Good exposure of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server Experience of Always on Availability feature (Configuration, Maintenance, Handling) Experience of Replication Feature Experience of User permission in SQL server
• Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Work as part of a team and provide 7x24 support when required
