Financial Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Carry out data control tasks for the PeopleSoft ERP, including the maintenance of ChartField segments and Chart of Accounts.
• Oversee the installation of patches, upgrades, changes, and enhancements, assessing their impact on the Finance organization.
• Develop and maintain Financial Reporting-approved standard nVision reports and associated templates.
• Supervise monthly general ledger interface process and validate interface data for completeness.
• Maintain PeopleSoft application-level access permissions and combination edit rules.
• Establish and implement new reporting requirements driven by external accounting changes or internal management requests.
• Participate in efforts to assess, modify, and/or develop and implement more timely and consistent processes and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and meaningfulness of information.
• Maintain detail oriented and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing detail oriented publications, establishing personal networks, adopting and implementing industry best practices, and participating in detail oriented societies.
• Protect confidential financial and patient information and support the finance operation through special projects.
• Communicate clearly, responsively, and purposely with customers and team members, promoting collaborative efforts with others.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in financial data analysis
