Data Analyst

Responsibilities
- This role translates complex datasets into strategic insights and executive-level narratives, supporting leadership decisions, client outcomes, and business growth.
- This role acts as the central connector across systems and data sources—understanding where data lives, how it's structured, and how to best present it.
- They triage data requests, identify the right sources, validate quality, structure reports, and deliver business intelligence throughout.
- Lead development of dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports using Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, and Snowflake.
- Partner with business leaders to frame strategic questions and determine the right data and visualizations to support decision-making.
- Act as a system-wide integrator, connecting data from multiple business lines and identifying nuances in source systems.
- Identify data deficits and solve them to capture missing information.
- Design and deliver reports that mine critical data and surface business opportunities.
- Understand, apply prioritization to, and execute existing data projects for the Retirement Operations team.
- Produce quarterly reports for business line leadership across all measurements capturing growth metrics.
- Respond to on-demand data requests from compliance and/or RFP requests.
Skills
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
- Architect and automate data pipelines using SQL and APIs, ensuring scalable and accurate reporting.
- Champion data governance and quality standards, especially during M&A transitions and system integrations.
- Represent and support OneDigital Retirement team members with technical expertise and solutioning in discussion with outside data providers, including Recordkeepers, TPAs, and Technical Providers.
- Be an active and engaged team member.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Advanced skills in Excel (Power Query, complex transformations).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud-based data systems.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
- Familiarity with API integrations and tools such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Demonstrated success communicating complex findings to senior leadership in a clear, actionable way.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Candidates with nontraditional backgrounds and strong portfolios will be considered.

- 🌟 The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $60,000 to $75,000 per year.
- 💼 Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location.

Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
