Operations Analyst, Plan Loading

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed oriented work with a high level of accuracy and adherence to all QA/QC protocols
  • Experience with designs, builds, and configuration workflows and utilize this knowledge to develop insights into opportunities for workflow improvements
  • Understand aggregated configuration data to identify updates required and to measure the impact of any changes on internal operations and existing configuration
  • Load configuration data into the core system accurately and in a timely manner
  • Use internal tools and technical processes, in particular database querying and benefit or reimbursement configuration concepts
  • Build SQL queries and translate technical analyses into easily digestible communications to a nontechnical audience
  • Identify and report on any data/data infrastructure gaps, deficiencies, or irregularities
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • 1+ years of working knowledge of health plan benefit concepts (e.g., deductibles and other forms of cost sharing, etc.)
  • 1+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or comparable programs within the Google Docs Editors suite (e.g., Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides)
  • 1+ years of experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets using excel or a similar database language to solve business problems
  • A bachelor's degree or 4 years commensurate experience
  • Working knowledge of medical coding concepts (e.g., CPT, HCPCs and ICD-10 coding)
  • Proficiency in SQL
