Responsibilities

  • Organize data from multiple sources into one central report and/or dashboard for administrative and clinical leaders.
  • Conduct complex data analytics to produce key takeaways that can help inform decision-making.
  • Continuously monitor data to ensure that department objectives are being met.
  • Develop and routinely update performance packages that can be used by department leaders.
  • Complete ad-hoc reports for practice leaders to report on the outcome of recent schedule changes.
  • Prepare complex analyses utilizing benchmark data from a number of sources as appropriate.
  • May be requested to validate externally reported data with internal source data.
  • Establishes relationships with various departments across Rush to obtain and validate data.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field required
  • Two years of health care experience in practice operations or decision support
  • Understanding of concepts in methodology, data collection, and analyses
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and communicate issues, findings and recommendations
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments and projects of varying degrees of complexity
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
