Junior Data Analyst
Responsibilities
- As a Data Analyst I, you'll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights across multiple business areas.
- Your work will ensure accuracy in reporting, improve business processes, and support strategic decisions through analytics and cross-functional collaboration.
- Collect and validate data from internal and external sources.
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
- Develop and document SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting processes.
- Create and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports.
- Respond to internal data inquiries and support analytical needs.
- Data extraction tools and validation methods.
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
- Familiarity with statistical software or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong documentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures).
- Relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Reporting platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
- Experience with ad hoc reporting in cross-functional environments.
- Knowledge of data governance or QA frameworks.
- Exposure to external data source integration (e.g., web scraping or APIs).
