SQL Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases to support various business needs.
  • Create and implement SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and manipulate data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop solutions.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to visualize data and track key performance metrics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all databases.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SQL and data analysis.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper integration and functioning of databases.
  • Continuously monitor and improve data quality and security.
  • Stay organized and maintain documentation of all SQL processes and procedures.
  • Train and mentor junior SQL analysts in database management and query writing.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including data privacy and security protocols.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance and data management strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience as a SQL Analyst or similar role
  • Certification in SQL or database management is a plus
