We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on pharmacy prior authorization maintenance activities, including prior authorization extensions, quality analysis, and miscellaneous reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, particularly using SQL and SAS. We need a proactive individual who is passionate about data, self-motivated, and able to thrive in situations of uncertainty. The candidate should be adaptable, able to quickly learn new concepts, and work collaboratively within a small team. This position is an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

Support pharmacy prior authorization maintenance activities, including extensions and quality analysis
Leverage SQL and SAS to analyze and report data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Contribute to client and member impact reporting tasks as needed
Manage your time effectively and independently to meet deadlines
Effectively communicate data insights to business partners in a clear and accessible manner

Skills

2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in the healthcare industry, with a curiosity for exploring data, testing hypotheses, and identifying patterns to drive insights
2+ years of experience using SQL, with the ability to create, update, and maintain various SQL-based reports
1+ years of experience with SAS, including PROC steps such as PROC SQL, or equivalent education
Experience prioritizing and organizing work effectively to meet deadlines
Experience working collaboratively within a team, driving progress and achieving goals in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate proficiency in Excel (comfortable with formulas, pivots, etc)
