Data Migration Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for data migration projects.
- Develop and maintain data migration plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify data quality issues and propose solutions to improve data integrity.
- Utilize data mapping techniques to identify data relationships and dependencies between systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure timely and accurate data migration.
- Design and execute data migration testing plans to validate data accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to data migration and provide timely resolutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data migration processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data migration processes align with system capabilities and constraints.
- Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on data migration progress.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in data migration and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of data security and compliance standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert for data migration processes and provide support to team members as needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data management strategies and initiatives.
