Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Operations Data Analyst to join our Systems Operations team. This role will be pivotal in optimizing sales processes, managing and visualizing data, and supporting strategic decision-making through robust analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with relational databases, data visualization tools, the Microsoft Power Platform suite, and is eager to take charge of an analytical project and deliver results that will make our organization more effective and efficient. This role acts as a broad resource to the sales, operations, and leadership teams for data retrieval, customer and industry research, and cross-functional communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales and customer data to identify trends, insights, and areas of opportunity.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to support sales performance tracking and strategic initiatives.
  • Leverage Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline and automate key sales operations processes.
  • Manage and extract data from Dynamics 365 CRM, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and IT to support business needs and data-driven projects.
  • Design and query relational databases to gather insights and support reporting requirements.
  • Present data findings to internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling way, using effective data visualization techniques.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving the CRM system, including data entry standards and process documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in a data analyst or business analyst role, preferably in a sales or revenue operations environment.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and data storytelling.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CRM or similar customer relationship management tools.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and ability to write and understand queries related to those databases.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an EdTech, SaaS, or education-focused organization.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and KPIs.
  • Familiarity with Excel, Python, JS, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
