Sr. Data Analyst IBOR / AWS / SQL

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong expertise in investment operations, position reconciliation, SQL and AWS services
The analyst will be responsible for analyzing position, transaction, and balance data for a books and records platform; answering daily data-led production support inquiries; producing functional documentation for AWS development
This role requires a blend of technical, business, and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on data discovery, analysis, and production support

Proven experience working with IBOR data (positions, transactions, balances) in financial services or asset management
Strong SQL skills, including advanced querying, performance optimization, and experience with AWS Athena
Understanding of AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, DynamoDB, etc) and ability to document functional requirements for AWS developers
Solid understanding of agile methodology and working in cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Excellent communication skills for documenting business requirements and functional designs
