Senior Data Visualization Analyst MarketPoint

Responsibilities

Interacts with senior sales leaders on a regular basis
Obtains feedback and requirements from customers and turns them into complex, dynamic, and aesthetically-pleasing reports and dashboards in Power BI, Tableau or Q
Begins to influence department's strategy
Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components
Work is performed without direction
Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
Develops customized, dynamic, and aesthetically-pleasing on-line reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or Qlik
Creates, designs, and customizes data visualizations, including charts, tables, and report layouts
Work directly with market and corporate executives and their teams, helping them leverage data and technology to maximize business impact
Analyzes a wide variety of sales data to derive insights
Write queries to pull/summarize/analyze data from various data sets and platforms
Provide mentoring to teammates with respect to consultative and technical skills in order to promote best practices and grow the organization

Bachelor's degree
Experience in Power BI, Tableau and/or Qlik
Experience in UI/UX, data visualization, or graphic design
SQL knowledge, including writing complex, performant queries to pull data from multiple platforms including SQL Server
2 years of experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
Experience in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
