Healthcare Data Analyst
Responsibilities
- We are looking for a data analyst who has experience working in the healthcare industry with deep knowledge of medical and pharmacy claims data to join our analytics team.
- This individual will be responsible for developing, preparing, and maintaining data analytics projects and products that provide insights into the drivers of health outcomes.
- In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with leading industry experts to develop next-level skills.
- Work to build and maintain healthcare analytic tools that optimize health plan members' use of medical and prescription drugs.
- Have an opportunity to develop and enhance Evio's proprietary digital health tools that put clinical insights in the hands of physicians in real-time at the point of care.
- Collaborate with Evio clinicians in the development of Real-World Evidence (RWE) research studies based on the claims data of over 25M lives.
- Facilitate data ingestion and standardization of medical and prescription drug claims data by partnering with Evio's technology team in ETL process development.
- Partner across Evio's analytics, clinical, and technology teams to drive automation initiatives as well as AI uses and adoption.

Skills
- 2-5 years of experience as a healthcare data analyst at a health plan.
- Deep knowledge of medical and prescription drug claims data at the claim line level.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python and/or similar business analytic or modeling tools.
- Superior problem-solving capabilities and learning agility with an attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Medispan (or First Databank) and medical coding (HCPCs, CPTs) systems and applying these codes in analytics.
- Collaborative team player mentality with a passion for using data to inform decisions.
- Experience in working with large, complex databases and process automation.
- Bachelor's degree

- Anticipated annual base pay range: $90,000 - $110,000 with additional variable compensation
